UNATU SACCO to hold AGM next Saturday

KAMPALA – Uganda National Teachers’ Union Cooperative Saving and Credit Society Ltd. [ UNATU SACCO] will hold its annual general meeting [AGM] on Saturday, July 15, 2023.

The AGM will take place at Teachers House in Kampala.

According to Ernest Kavulu, the chairperson executive committee, entrance to the venue is only for subscribing members and invited guests.

There are 15 items on the agenda including presentation of management report, reading of the previous minutes, presentation of audited accounts, presentation of budget estimates, and work plan.

The chairperson and general secretary will respectively give remarks during the AGM.

UNATU SACCO is for teachers on government payroll.

According to UNATU general secretary, Filbert Bates Baguma, the Union spearheaded the formation of teachers’ SACCO to help members access affordable financial services.
