BRASILIA, August 26, 2026 — Brazil exported 3.03 million 60-kilogramme bags of coffee, including green and processed products, in July, marking a 9.9 percent increase from the same month last year.
According to a monthly statistical report cited by Safras, the increase came in the first month of the 2026/27 coffee season, which runs from July to June.
Coffee export revenue reached US$ 903.9 million in July. During the first seven months of 2026, Brazil exported 20.897 million bags worth US$ 7.449 billion.
Compared with the same period in 2025, export volumes fell by 5.9 percent, while export revenue declined by 13.1 percent.
Conilon coffee was a major driver of July’s performance, with exports reaching 851,235 bags, an 84.4 per cent increase from July 2025.
Between January and July 2026, Brazil exported 3.387 million bags of conilon, representing a 73.5 percent year-on-year increase.
Arabica remained Brazil’s leading exported coffee variety during the first seven months of the year, accounting for 14.987 million bags, or 71.7 percent of total exports.
The harvest of Coffea canephora, which includes conilon and robusta, is in its final stage, with only a small volume yet to be harvested.
The final stages of the harvest are expected to support coffee shipments into the new season. Industry experts said the conilon and robusta crop had delivered a positive overall result, particularly in terms of quality.
