He said the Braille Bible is the first of its kind in the Country and would help blind people to participate in the ministry of God without depending on information from other people.

“There is no way we can launch this book when the blind people are not there, I want to appeal to you to be part of this journey and give maximum support to them,” he said.

Bishop Olwa said last year he contacted the Uganda Bible Society to translate and make it available 30 special Bible for people with visual impairment.

“They gave us a long list to tick and we did, they worked within one year then we raised money and paid them,” he said.

Kasiimba commended Lango diocese for the development saying the blind people will no longer lag behind in receiving God`s word.
