Alur Kingdom receives 436 bursaries for vocational education
NEBBI, March 14, 2025 – – The Alur Kingdom has announced the receipt of 436 bursary offers for its young people to pursue various vocational courses at Erussi Institute of Science and Technology [EISS] and Fountainhead Institute of Management and Technology.
This development was shared in a press release dated March 12, 2025, signed by David Ruping, the kingdom’s Director of Communications and spokesperson.
According to the press release, EISS, located in Padolo Parish, Erussi Sub-county in Nebbi district, has offered 100 bursaries to the Alur Kingdom, for students to be awarded National Diploma in Crop Production and Management, National Certificate in Agriculture Production and Management, National Certificate in Building Construction, and National Certificate in Fashion and Garment Design.
On the other hand, Fountainhead Institute of Management and Technology, located in Lira City West Division, Lira City, has extended 336 bursaries —six bursaries for each of the 56 chiefdoms that make up the Kingdom.
At Fountainhead Institute of Management and Technology, the available courses include the National Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Other courses on offer are the National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Animal Production and Management.
Others are Records and Information Management, Accounting and Finance, Crop Production and Management, Fashion and Garment Design, Agribusiness Management, and Petroleum Logistics Management.
