MADISON, Wis. –Nominations are open for World Council of Credit Unions’ [WOCCU] 2023 Digital Growth Award, which will recognise one or more member credit union associations or member credit unions for successfully working toward our Challenge 2025 goal of expanding digital transformation across the globe.
Nominees must show they have implemented digital solutions that are; inclusive by reaching members of underserved communities, innovative to reduce costs, streamline operations or improve members’ experience, and scalable in the sense that the solution can be replicable by other credit union associations or credit unions.
“With the Digital Growth Award now in its third year, we hope to see more nominations than ever before,” said World Council President and CEO Elissa McCarter LaBorde. “We are excited to showcase how credit unions are using innovative digital solutions to reach underserved populations and to build resilient communities across the globe.”
An independent panel of judges with expertise in credit unions, microfinance, and digital financial technologies will evaluate all nominations and select the winners.
Digital Growth Award recipients will receive one free registration (per person or organization) to the 2023 World Credit Union Conference (WCUC) in Vancouver, Canada, July 23-26. Awards will be presented during WCUC Annual General Meeting at WCUC 2023 on Monday, July 24.
2023 Digital Growth Award nominations must be submitted by a World Council member association by March 3.
