Winners rewarded in “Jaguza ne Standard Chartered Bank” Deposit Campaign

The lucky draw winners walked away with home appliances and shopping vouchers

KAMPALA, September 2, 2025 — Standard Chartered Bank Uganda recently rewarded 38 winners of the “Jaguza ne Standard Chartered,” campaign for the month of July.

The campaign was launched on July 1, and is designed to reward clients for saving, transacting and maintaining deposits with the Bank from July 1- September 30, 2025.

The lucky draw winners walked away with home appliances and shopping vouchers.

The selected prize winners are from Wealth and Retail Banking including the Personal Banking, Business and affluent segments. 18 of the winners deposited and maintained Shs 1 million in their bank accounts throughout the month of July which qualified them to enter a draw and win prizes that include smart TVs, refrigerators, cookers, microwaves, washing machines.

Twenty clients who also successfully made at least 10 card payments at a Point-of-Sale terminal or e-commerce with their debit cards, during the month of July also won Shs 100,000 shopping vouchers.

The campaign is still ongoing and the monthly home appliances and shopping vouchers are still up for grabs. We will reward 5 lucky clients who deposit and maintain Shs 100 million with the grand prize of a fully paid trip for two to Dubai.

Speaking at the prize giving ceremony held at the Bank’s Head office on Speke Road,
Paul Sefa Badu, Head of Wealth and Retail Banking said the Campaign demonstrated the Bank’s commitment to putting clients at the heart of everything it does.

Bank officials say the “Jaguza ne Standard Chartered” campaign is open to business, personal and affluent banking clients with current and savings accounts in both local and foreign currencies, as well as term deposit accounts.

One of the winners told this reporter that he would continue saving with the bank so that he can be able to get a loan for investment. “I will not withdraw the money from my account but continue to save more so that in future I can be able to get a loan I need for the business I intend begin in the near future,” he said, requesting to remain anonymous in this news story.
