Standard Chartered Bank launches campaign to reward loyal clients
The “Jaguza ne Standard Chartered” campaign is open to clients with current and savings accounts in both local and foreign currencies, as well as term deposit accounts

KAMPALA, July 2, 2025 –– Standard Chartered Bank Uganda has launched a new deposit campaign dubbed “Jaguza ne Standard Chartered”, aimed at rewarding clients for saving, transacting, and maintaining deposits with one of the country’s systemically important banks.
Running from July1 to September 30, 2025, the campaign gives clients the opportunity to win monthly shopping vouchers, home appliances, and a grand prize of a fully paid trip for two to Dubai for five lucky winners.
Clients will receive entries into monthly prize draws for every Shs 1 million deposited and maintained in their accounts. Prizes include smart TVs, refrigerators, cookers, microwaves, washing machines, and shopping vouchers.
In addition, clients who make at least 10 monthly debit card payments, either at Point-of-Sale terminals or through e-commerce, will be eligible to win shopping vouchers in the monthly draws.
Clients who deposit and maintain Shs 100 million or more will qualify for the grand prize draw, where five winners will each receive a trip for two to Dubai.
Speaking at the launch event held at the Bank’s Head Office on Speke Road, Kampala, Standard Chartered Bank Uganda CEO, Sanjay Rughani, reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to the Ugandan market: “At Standard Chartered, we continue to invest in innovation, customer experience, and economic transformation. Despite our recent announcement to exit the Wealth and Retail Banking [WRB] business.”
