NCUI launches second edition of Coops4GenNext

NEW DELHI – The apex body of cooperatives-the National Cooperative Union of India [NCUI] conducted its second lecture of Coops4GenNext Knowledge Series on Cooperatives recently.

According to Indian Cooperative, Coops4GenNext is an initiative that provides an interactive cooperative knowledge-sharing platform for youth.

The second lecture was titled “Smart Farming Unleashed with Cooperative Innovation”.

Sharing details through Twitter wall, the NCUI wrote, “NCUI’s Cooperative Extension & Advisory Services Division successfully conducted the 2nd lecture on “Smart Farming Unleashed with Cooperative Innovation”, under its flagship e-learning program – “Coops4GenNext Knowledge Series”

NCUI CE Dr. Sudhir Mahajan warmed all esteemed speakers, participants, setting the stage for the engaging and enlightening session.

He also shared valuable information about the initiatives undertaken by NCUI in empowering cooperatives across the nation.

Venkateshwara Cooperative Power & Agro Processing Ltd., Nashik, Chairman Shivaji Dole took all on a remarkable journey through their Cooperative’s growth trajectory, highlighting the power of collective efforts in agriculture and innovation, reads a NCUI Facebook post.

Madhvendra Thakur, Chairman of Mithila Vegetable Processing & Marketing Cooperative Union Ltd., Bihar, enlightened the attendees with his visionary ideas, shedding light on the path to a more sustainable and prosperous agriculture sector.

An overwhelming count of more than 300 active participants joined this enriching webinar, contributing to the collective knowledge pool for the betterment of Indian farming & cooperative community, reads a post.

Readers would recall that Coops4GenNext Knowledge Series was launched on the occasion of “World Youth Skills Day”. The inaugural lecture titled “Cooperatives: Social Business Model for Inclusive and Sustainable Development” was delivered by Dr. KK Tripathy, a renowned cooperative expert.
