MATCH FACTS: Sudan, Senegal play for bronze medal

KAMPALA, August 29, 2025 — Sudan and Senegal meet in the bronze medal match of the 2024 TotalEnergies African Nations Championship, a fixture that will be played on Friday night at the Mandela National Stadium Namboole, Kampala.

Both sides are aiming to finish their campaign on a high after missing out on the final booked by Morocco and Madagascar. Sudan are competing in the third-place play-off for a record third time, while Senegal, the defending champions, are making their second appearance.
