Ecobank named Africa’s Best Bank for Trade Finance in Global Finance Awards

Ecobank was presented with its trophies by Global Finance at the awards ceremony during the BAFT Europe Bank-To-Bank Forum in Amsterdam on 12 March 2025

LOMÉ, March 21, 2025 — Ecobank Group, which also operates an affiliate in Uganda, has been named as the Best Trade Finance Provider Bank in Africa, at the Global Finance Trade Finance & Supply Chain Finance Awards 2025.

Additionally, according to the press release seen by this reporter, the banking Group’s affiliates in Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire and Rwanda were also recognised as the Best Trade Finance Provider in their respective markets.
